1. Trademarks

The following names, marks, and phrases are trademarks (whether registered or unregistered) of Joy Health Technologies LLC:

• JOY (the application name and brand)
• Joy: Joyful Living (full app name)
• "Because every memory matters." (brand tagline)
• Joy Health Technologies (company name)

You may not use any of these marks in any way that implies endorsement by or affiliation with Joy Health Technologies LLC without our prior written consent. This includes but is not limited to: creating competing apps, products, or services using similar names; using our marks in domain names, social media handles, or company names; or misrepresenting your relationship with JOY.

2. Copyrights

All content created by Joy Health Technologies LLC is protected by copyright under U.S. copyright law, including:

• The JOY application source code (iOS and Android)
• All UI screen designs, layouts, and interaction patterns
• The curated prompt library (reminiscing prompts, wellness prompts, gratitude prompts)
• App icons, logos, and graphic design assets
• All written content on joyhealthtechnologies.com
• All legal documents, policies, and help content
• Marketing materials including the social media pamphlet

3. What You May Do

• Use JOY as intended per these Terms of Service
• Share a link to joyhealthtechnologies.com
• Reference JOY by name in an honest, factual, non-commercial context (e.g., a review, academic paper, or news article)
• Use screenshots of JOY in personal, non-commercial contexts (e.g., helping a family member learn to use the app)

4. What You May Not Do

• Reproduce, copy, or redistribute JOY's source code, designs, or content without written permission
• Create apps, products, or services that replicate or are substantially similar to JOY's concept, name, or design elements
• Use JOY's name, logo, or tagline in promotional, commercial, or endorsement contexts without permission
• Remove copyright notices or proprietary labels from JOY content
• Register domain names, social media usernames, or business names that incorporate JOY's marks

5. User Content Ownership

You retain all intellectual property rights in content you upload to JOY (photos, voice recordings, messages). JOY does not acquire ownership of your content. The limited license you grant us (to store and deliver content within your family account) is described in our Terms of Service and is revocable upon content deletion or account deletion.

6. Open Source Components

JOY is built on open-source software including React Native, Expo SDK, and various npm packages. We comply with all applicable open-source licenses. Third-party open-source components retain their original licenses and copyrights. A list of open-source dependencies is available upon request.

7. Licensing Requests
